FAQ’s

will moles leave on their own?

Sometimes, but active tunnel systems often continue to expand and damage lawns first before they get better.

What’s the difference between moles and gophers?

Moles primarily feed on insects underground like slugs, worms, grubs, etc. While gophers feed on roots and vegetation under the surface. Both critters are tunneling animals, however gophers tend to go deeper than moles and create larger mounds, where as moles create long winding tunnels right under the soil surface.

how long does trapping take?

Every property is different, but active tunnel systems can be targeted and identified quickly. Our standard trapping program offers 4 weeks of trapping, 2 weekly visits to monitor traps Mon-Fri. For larger properties we may need to extend trapping duration and add more traps to trap set to reach the optimal success we are looking for.
